Hosted by LHG of Shoshone County, ID
Join us for an outdoor adventure as we gather with Tarita Harju to learn about foraging in our area!
Tarita is a trained ecologist who loves working in wetlands and streams in North Idaho. She has a quasi-homestead with her husband and two teenage boys up the North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River with plenty of chickens, ducks, the occasional pig, and lots of veggies. When she's not kayaking the river or weeding the garden, she's happiest wandering trails ooohing and aaaahing at all the seasonal flowers, mushrooms, and the like.
Gathering will begin at 6pm.
Remember to dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and bring some water.
